Fighting for the Future
Vivian “Rocky” Guitterrez is a 16-year-old female up and coming boxer who is showing us that girls can dominate a man’s sport! Our own Diana Gutierrez was able to get into the ring with her at Unanimous Boxing Gym in Logan Square not to box- but to talk about life, her training, and the tradition of boxing in her family.
Rocky’s next fight is a big one- it’s the tournament to get into the Junior Olympics. If you want to cheer her on, it’s June 23rd to 29th in Madison, Wisconsin.
