Family of Gun Violence Victim Speaks
Near the corner of 24th and Rockwell in Little Village, 16-year-old, Benito Juarez student Angie Monroy was gunned down, just days before Christmas. Three blocks down, 19-year-old Elena Sada also lost her life to gun violence. Both shootings were less than a year apart from each other.
For the first time, Elena’s family is ready to share her story which left them shattered and with many unanswered questions. The JAM's Diana Gutierrez has their story.
