How Chicagoans can help Greece after wildfires

As wildfires continue to devastate regions near Athens, Chicagoans are stepping up to help.

It’s becoming a crisis for so many in the region, losing their homes and families. The death toll has risen to 80 people. More than 150 have been injured.

On Wednesday, Chicago Sister Cities International announced relief efforts for displaced residents overseas. The group is partnering with the Greek government, the Hellenic Red Cross, and the SOS Children’s Village to set up Go Fund Me pages. All of the funds will go toward Greece wildfire relief efforts.
