HIV is Impacting Black Cisgender Women at Alarming Rates

Despite advances in medical treatment, HIV is still one of the top 10 leading causes of death for Americans. The CDC says more than 40% of new infections are among Black people, with Black cisgender women making up more than half of new HIV cases. Brandon Pope sat with Dr. Sadia Haider from RUSH University’s Medical Center, who has been researching this issue.
