Tonight, Tuesday, April 9, Weigel Broadcasting Co. will celebrate the South Bend Cubs home opener by broadcasting it in Chicago and South Bend, at 7P (EDT)/6P(CDT) on The U, WMYS, channel 69, South Bend and WMEU, channel 48 and WCIU, channel 26.2 Chicago.

Weigel has a longstanding relationship with the South Bend Cubs, the minor league High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and 2019 and 2022 Midwest League Champions. “This will be the 10th season Weigel Broadcasting in South Bend and the South Bend Cubs have partnered,” said Aaron Ramey vice president/general manager of WBND/WCWW and WMYS, “and we’re excited to start off the season with the opener on WMYS and WMEU. We like having the ability to get all our stations in front of loyal South Bend Cubs fans.”
