WCIU is The Illinois Broadcasters Association Station of the Year!
We are extremely proud to announce that Tuesday, October 24, The Illinois Broadcasters Association named WCIU “Station of the Year” at this year’s 2023 Silver Dome Awards. The award was given in recognition of our station’s mix of news, sports, and featured content as well as community service.
Not only that, but additional Silver Domes were awarded to our station in the categories of “Community Service,” “TV Series/Documentary,” “TV Graphics,” and “TV Commercial.”
WCIU is distinctly Chicago, reflecting the heart and diversity of our vibrant community. Viewers and now the industry agree.
The IBA recognizes the best in broadcasting each year with the Silver Dome Awards and in 2023, it’s WCIU.
