CW26 joins forces again with Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD),  Jewel-Osco, Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co and MeTV FM for our bi-annual event FILL A BAG, FILL A BUS to help donate meals to those in need across Cook County!

The holidays should be a magical, memorable time with family and friends but unfortunately, there are those who are still in need for food. One in six residents of our community turns to the Food Depository’s member network each year for nutritious food. Those families need help and the Greater Chicago Food Depository is where they turn to for assistance.

With more than 18,000 volunteers, GCFD distributed 171,000 meals everyday last year alone! CW26 and its partners are committed to help stock those shelves by having several collection sites at three area Jewel-Osco locations on Wednesday, December 4.

• 6 AM – 10 AM: River North – 370 N. Desplaines St
• 12 PM – 4 PM: Oak Lawn – 4650 W 103rd St
• 12 pm – 4 PM: River Forest – 7525 Lake St
