Tomorrow is the big downtown celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, and the marquee moment is the river turning green. Jon Hansen was at the river today with the team that makes the magic happen and he got to chow down on some tasty St. Patrick’s Day food and drink specials at Morton’s Steakhouse.

The CTA and Metra will have extra trains running this weekend and if you plan on heading downtown to see the dyeing of the river, make sure you get to the Riverwalk early! It all kicks off at 9am tomorrow morning!
