Murders, Shootings at Four-Year Low
New figures released by CPD show the between January and the end of July the city saw 282 murders. That’s down 11% from the same time last year, and shootings also dropped 11%. We spoke to Superintendent Eddie Johnson after yesterday's show about the trend and his plans to keep Chicago safe.
