The holiday peak season is from Black Friday all the way to Christmas Day. At Chicago’s only FedEx Express location in Goose Island there are predictions about the busiest days.

Michael Murphy the senior operations manager explains peaks are different. Ten years ago, the definition of a peak in the holiday season was different. Now, FedEx is busier when it comes to deliveries. Buying patterns and online promotions is really what kicked off this uptick.

Murphy says for first-time online buyers time management is key. Ordering early and double checking the destination address is key.
