It's been a great month for Payton--her family and friends commenting on the Rottweiler breed and in particular Payton's wonderful winning ways. She's a great dog and her family loves her dearly. I see how my grandchildren interact with her and Payton's loving response to them. I've seen her grow from a puppy who was all legs and paws, to a big (no doubt about the big) gentle and sweet dog. She is a true representative of this breed. Payton, hold your head high no matter the outcome. Good luck!!!

I would like to thank the U for sharing Payton with Chicagoland. Whether she wins the contest or not, she is tops in our hearts! She is such a grand ambassador for the Rottweiler breed. Babysat yesterday for my three grandchildren, you know, Kyle, Leah & Payton. Payton & I stood at the front door waiting for the school bus. Leah (first one home) kissed Payton and said "hi" to me and proceeded to watch the Disney channel. Kyle came home an hour later, kissed the dog, said "hi" to me and proceeded to play videos. Payton, well she just stayed by my side just waiting for her treats.

Update of yesterday's babysitting of Kyle, Leah and Payton. Of the three, Payton was the happiest to see me. Could it be that I'm a sucker for giving her treats when she looks at me with her big beautiful brown eyes? Kyle and Leah should be so lucky.

Update of my latest babysitting adventure. Of the three grandchildren (Kyle, Leah and Payton) I must admit Payton is the one who is the happiest to see me. Could it be that she gets unlimited amount of treats from me. Kyle and Leah should be that lucky.

I'm babysitting today for three of my grandchildren, Kyle, Leah and Payton. Can't wait until I see them. Of course, I'll get more licks and kisses from Payton. I don't know if I want to have Kyle and Leah licking me---but I do like their kisses.

How does she know? It's dark outside but as soon as my car turns the corner in front of her home her tail (if she had one) starts wagging. She gets so excited she can hardly wait until I get inside the house.

Payton is the sweetest dog despite her size. She can give lap dogs competition for being cuddly and loving.
