Simeon Career Academy and Kenwood Academy Cheer Off
Kenwood Academy and Simeon Career Academy faced off in the CPS Boys Basketball Championships on February 21st.
Simeon beat Kenwood 54-49 in a close matchup, but the fourth quarter cheer-off was a definitive tie.
The Wolverines and Broncos cheerleaders performed the same routine before letting the boys wrap up the final seconds of the game.
Both teams have games tonight (March 1st) at 7 PM as part of the IHSA Regional Semifinals. Kenwood is up against Friedrich Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center and Simeon is up against Thornton Factional South.
Our best to both schools, but an extra-special shout-out to the Bronco and Wolverine cheerleading squads.
