Neil deGrasse Tyson talks science, politics and football on 'You & Me'

When it comes to all things space, there is not a bigger name than Neil deGrasse Tyson.

The author and astrophysicist is in Chicago to receive the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Prize. Tyson says, "I'm the first scientist to get this award — perhaps as a reminder that Lincoln actually had something to do with science."

Tyson shares his science and technology thoughts on You & Me relating to topics such as the March on Washington, the seven new planets… and even football?

The scientist recently tweeted about how science affects the sport. According to Tyson, because of earth's rotation, a 50-yard field goal will deflect 1/3 of an inch to the right depending on the orientation of a football stadium.

Tyson has a strong social following, especially on Twitter. With just about seven million followers, he says, "I wake up each morning and say, 'Do you guys know I'm an astrophysicist? You can still back out!'"

We know, Neil, and we're still not unfollowing. Too much knowledge on one feed!
